Core Network Documentation​

Yate-based LTE and GSM Core Network products documentation, setup, configuration and control by web-based user interface or JSON API.

YateUCN implements the functions of GSM, LTE and VoLTE core network:

  • MME, SGW, PGW and PCEF as LTE core network 
  • P-CSCF, I/S-CSCF, IWF and BGW as VoLTE core network
YateHSS/HLR is a Software implementation of HSS, HLR and AuC for LTE/GSM/UMTS and WiFi networks, for MNOs, MVNOs, Private Networks and IoT networks.

YateSMSC – Short Message Service Center (SMSC) for GSM, UMTS and LTE networks. Fulfills all the functions of a conventional SMS Center, forwarding, storing and delivering SMSs in GSM, UMTS and LTE networks.

YateUSGW – is a gateway based on Yate that converts USSD sessions and SMSs to HTTP requests, allowing implementation of USSD and SMS applications in an HTTP server.

YateMMI – remote management interface that allows a swift and easy configuration of all Yate-based products: YateUCN, YateHSS/HLR and YateSMSC.

YateSTP – Yate-based Signal Transfer Point router implementation. It provides a redundant communication hub for all SS7 network components.

YateDRA – implements a Diameter Routing Agent capable of routing requests based on configurable rules.

YateSIGX is a product that allows creation of custom Signalling Exchange protocol intervention rules and algorithms for SS7 TCAP and Diameter based interfaces.

YateNPDB was designed to manage the number portability database. It offers an API to set series or individually ported numbers. It comes installed with our products that need to interrogate the number portability database.
