Description
The “Node params” feature has been implemented with the main scope to allow users to globally set common node parameters for each equipment type. This can be done from the new “Node params” step of Network settings wizard. Existing node parameters previously set as extra params are automatically moved to the “Node params” step at update. The user still has the option to set parameters individually for each equipment.
The “Node params” feature allows to set parameters for the following equipment types: YateHSS/HLR; YateUDM and YateSMSC.
The “Node params” step has been added in Network settings wizard, between APNs and Extra params steps. This option is available only in Edit Network settings wizard.
Step configuration from Network settings wizard

When an equipment type is selected from “Equipment Type” dropdown, a non-editable form of that equipment type will be displayed.
To edit form parameters you have to use “Modify” button. This button will open an editable form.

Now, the user can set or edit the equipment type parameters. Once set, this parameters will be inherited by the equipment that correspond to the equipment type set.

Overriding Node param from Equipment edit wizard
When a new equipment is added in your network, the inherited parameters will be displayed on page. The parameters are not editable anymore and a note is displayed to announce user that he will be able to modify these parameters individually in edit equipment wizard.
Inherited parameters set in Node params step from Network settings wizard are displayed in a user-friendly format ” Inherited – Value Inherited “, while the not set parameters are specified with a “Not set” description.

In edit equipment wizard each parameter can be modified individually using “Modify” button and the new set value will be applied only on this equipment.

Multiple parameters can be modified using “Modify” buttons.

Once the inherited parameters have been modified individually their new values will be displayed. The user will always have the option to return to the inherited value or to set a new value by using “Modify” or “Inherit (value)” buttons.

The “Inherit (value)” buttons have the main scope to remove the custom parameter value and to return parameter to the inherited value.

If the user chooses to check the equipment JSON using View JSON button on equipment, the json parameters will contain the custom parameters value if they are set, otherwise the inherited parameter value is added into JSON.
