Change Network Name Through BTS Configuration
Connect to the LabKit’s LMI (Local Management Interface) by using a browser and the URL:
The web login credentials are: username – yatebts; password – ‘same-as-serial’
In the first context of the LMI, Working Mode, choose one of the three GSM options:
In the third context, BTS Configuration, clicking on the Advanced menu will reveal additional tabs:
From the newly revealed tabs, choose the System tab and edit the Networkname and Networkname.full parameters with whatever you want to be displayed as your network:
Submit the changes and restart the LabKit.
To verify that the network name has been changed, manually search for mobile networks and the result should be as in the image below:
