Import SIM profiles / SIMs / Subscribers

Importing SIM Profiles

MMI supports two types of SIM Profiles:

  • MMI supports two types of SIM Profiles:
  • 2G
  • 3G/4G
  • Import file format: .csv

Examples:

Importing Subscribers

  • Import file format: .csv
  • Subscriber types:
  • sim
  • sip

It is not required for a subscriber to have SS or ODB activated. It can have one, both or none of them activated.

Values from file have a bigger precedence than the ones from the form, so values from form will be skipped if we also have a value for same field completed in file.

Examples:

Add SIM profile using YateMMI

Importing SIMs

  • Import file format:
  • .csv
  • .out
  • SIM types:
  • Single IMSI
  • Single IMSI and auxiliary IMSI
  • Multi IMSI (max 9 additional IMSIs, with paired MSISDN and additional info about them)
  • When importing a .out file:
  • column IMSI can be also named IMSI1. Because of this when creating multi IMSI sim strat column counting from 2 ( IMSI2, MSISDN2, INFO2, IMSI3, MSISDN3, …, MSISDN9,INFO9 , IMSI0, MSISDN0,INFO0)
  • when creating single IMSI SIM with auxiliary IMSI add value for the auxiliary IMSI on column IMSI2 (if IMSI3 or MSISDN3 are present in file then IMSI2 will not be considered Auxiliary IMSI. Same column is also used when defining multi IMSI)
  • keep in import file just the columns for which you have a value; erase the others.

Examples:

.csv files
.out files

Importing SIMs + Subscribers

  • Import file format:
  • .csv
  • .out
  • When importing a .csv file:
All rules from Importing SIMs and Subscribers are applied (see Importing SIMs and Importing Subscribers sections)
  • When importing a .out file:
  • All rules from Importing SIMs and Subscribers are applied (see Importing SIMs and Importing Subscribers sections)
  • At least the start of MSISDN range and the SIM profile must be set. For each SIM a subscriber will be autogenerated.
  • Use ‘NP’ (Not provisioned) for Supplementary services (SS) fields that user should not be able to set.
  • SS checkboxes are by default marked as provisioned (if left unchecked, after import Provisoned checkbox will be checked).

Values from file have a bigger precedence than the ones from the form, so values from form will be skipped if we also have a value for same field completed in file.

Examples:

.csv files
.out files
  • five single IMSI sims (IMSI column completed)
  • five single IMSI sims (IMSI1 column completed)
  • five single IMSI sims + auxiliary imsi (IMSI2 column completed – this column holds the Auxiliary IMSI value, while MSISDN2 or IMSI3 columns are not present in file)
  • five multi imsi sims (MultiIMSI columns numerotation must start from 2. Ex: IMSI2,MSISDN2… . Don’t add IMSI1,MSISDN1 and INFO1 columns, as IMSI1 will replace IMSI column value and MSISDN1 and INFO1 will be skipped.)
