Testing OTA commands in OTA SMSC mode
Initial set-up for OTA SMSC Mode
Yate OTA Server has three available Delivery Mode Configurations, OTA Scheduler, OTA SMSC and Local. In this guide we’re are giving two examples of using the OTA SMSC mode.
OTA SMSC mode sends the RAM/RFM commands directly to SMSC, passing over OTA Scheduler.
Note:
– All the commands are packed in UD(s) and sent to the connected SMSC.
– SMSC will pack the received UD into a SMS and forward it to the desired MSISDN.
- Before starting tests the SIM should be into a phone and connected to the network.
- Next step is to open YateOTA interface, press on ‘Change mode' from the interface header. Then choose “OTA SMSC” and press on ‘Set Delivery Mode’.
